काठमाडौं । विश्व क्यान्सर दिवसकाे उपलक्ष्यमा आयाेजित एक कार्यक्रममा माननीय स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्यामन्त्री श्री प्रदिप पाैडेलज्यु तथा माननीय उप-सभामुख श्री इन्दिरा रानामगरज्युबाट क्यान्सर राेग बारे बिभिन्न तहमा जनचेतना बढाउने, क्यान्सर स्क्रिनिङ तथा निवारणमा उल्लेख्य याेगदान पुर्याएकाेमा करूणा सिटी क्लिनिकलाई सम्मान गरिएको थियो । करूणा सिटी क्लिनिकका तर्फबाट प्रबन्ध निर्देशक श्री सुरज शाक्यज्युले सम्मान स्वरूप कदर-पत्र ग्रहण गरेका थिए ।

करूणा सिटी क्लिनिकले क्यान्सर सम्बन्धि जनचेतना बढाउने कार्यमा बिभिन्न स्थानीय संघसंस्थाहरूसँग सहकार्य गर्दै बिभिन्न स्कुल, कलेज, सामाजिक संस्था, व्यवसायिक संस्था, टाेलहरूमा सचेतना तथा चेक जाँच (screening) कार्यक्रमहरू सञ्चालन गर्दै आएकाे छ ।

Kathmandu | Karuna City Clinic was felicitated for its contribution and commitment in spreading cancer awareness at various community level, and its continued efforts in cancer screening, prevention and treatment, advocacy of cancer and patient support in a program themed ‘United by Unique’ to mark World Cancer Day 2025 at Hotel Holiday Inn, Kathmandu.
Mr. Suraj Shakya, Managing Director of Karuna City Clinic accepted the Certificate of Appreciation from Honorable Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Indira Rana Magar on behalf of the clinic.
Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel was the chief guest at the event while special guests included Indira Rana Magar, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Diwakar Rajkarnikar, Director of The Hidden Treasure, singer Devika Bandana, Former and reigning Miss Nepal and cancer survivors.
